Depression and anxiety are powerful emotions that can quickly leave you feeling emotionally and physically drained. These and other mental health concerns that affect adults, teens, couples, and families often stem from fears about current relationships, unexpected life changes, career, or other overwhelming life demands. Making things more difficult, it isn’t always clear what specific event (or series of events) led you to feeling this way. Even when you know why you are worried, frustrated or angry, it can be difficult to manage from day to day. While you are working hard to find solutions, you may be exhausted from exploring resources online and trying to understand what steps you can take to feel better.
Everyone experiences anxiety at times. However, if anxious or worried thinking is taking over your life and affecting your health, job, relationships, and family—or if it is keeping you from doing things you want to do, it may be time to find relief.
For the past 10 years I have been helping my patients develop healthier coping skills in order to live a more balanced and satisfied life. In my experience working as a psychotherapist in New York City, I’ve learned that feeling more empowered in your everyday life and relationships starts with understanding how to recognize and manage life’s stressors.
I provide a therapeutic environment that will allow you to sort out your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together we can work on a plan that addresses your specific needs and goals so you can manage your feelings, thoughts, and emotions with greater confidence and find lasting healing and growth.
